My name is Sarah and I'm a 24 year old dental assistant. Coming to work at this office as a high school intern, I learned a lot and after I graduated, I became a member of the dental team.

Working in dentistry has been a great experience and that is why I plan on pursuing a career as a dental hygienist. I will continue to work at Dr. Smith's office.

Our office is a family, and it is one that I do not want to leave. I take great pride in knowing I'm helping to educate and treat our patients every day.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, I love the outdoors, and summer is my favorite time of year.

Hi, I'm Danielle, an assistant for Dr. Smith. I have been working at Dr. Smith's office for 5 years, and it has been a great learning experience.

I attend Oakland Community College, am working towards a degree in nursing, and one day hope to be a registered nurse.

As part of the team, my duties include: working with patients,
lab work, answering the phone, and many other activities to maintain the paperless office and keep it running smoothly.

When not at work, or in class, I enjoy time with friends and family. I like water activities such as swimming and Jetskiing on the lake, and also simple things like reading.

I really like working here because of the friendly work environment. We have a lot of fun, work as a team, and really treat our patients like family.

Dr. Smith's office is a great place for me to learn and support my future goals.

Hi, my name is Amy. I am the office manager and treatment plan coordinator. I came to work for Dr. Smith almost 5 years ago and Dr. Smith has become one of my closest friends because he is always looking out for me and my family's best interests.

The thing I love about my job is that I get to help people with their self-image. I love sitting down with our patients to help them decide how to best enhance their smile and can offer them affordable payment options.

I am confident that with my help they are going to have a very big smile for a very long time I can go home to my 2 kids after a long hard day feeling fulfilled, knowing that I have helped our patients feel great about themselves and in the process have become part of our close family.

My name is Jacki Jacoby Smith and I moved here from Atlanta in 2000 when Gordon and I got married. I work at Dr. Smith's office as a marketing consultant.

After twenty five years I am retiring from my career as a Teacher Consultant for the Visually Impaired.

I represent Silpada Designs, a magnificently handcrafted line of natural stone and sterling silver jewelry and am excited with my new career as a health coach for Take Shape for Life.

I have two terrific daughters, Meliss and Dana, and two grandchildren, Shai and Ilan. When not teaching or showing my jewelry, I enjoy camping, dancing, knitting, scrapbooking, traveling, and working out.

As marketing consultant, I am happy to be part of Gordon's dental practice at this exciting time of technological advances as well as facial beauty enhancement.

My name is Barb and I am Dr Smith's dental hygienist.
In 1977 I graduated from Mott Community College. Originally from Midland (Michigan), I moved to Union Lake, in 1982, after marriage to my husband, Dave. We have a daughter in college at the University of Michigan.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences in dentistry with my patients and try to motivate everyone toward perfect dental health. With every patient, I strive to be gentle yet thorough in my treatments. I feel fortunate to be sharing patient care with an empathetic dental professional; Dr. Smith.

Recently licensed in local anesthesia, my continuing education experiences are too numerous to list. I am most proud of my background in cosmetic dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute, the intensive training received from Pro Perio in soft tissue (gum) management and the advanced techniques in sonic scaling from the University of Michigan.

My hobbies are motorcycles, horseback riding, and snow skiing.
